People, these days listen to music with earphones offered by their beloved smartphone. Few might think of getting a new pair of earphones. Getting your ear buds tangled, twisted, and ripped off is a pain that most of us could relate to. And considering the problems you will be facing while listening to your favourite music without worrying what other people think of your playlist.
India has much to offer but for audiophiles, there aren’t enough companies that offer audiophiles what they need. Under the name of Signature Acoustic, Navi-Mumbai-based Pristine Note company entered into Earphone market. The Signature Acoustic C-12 elements are one of their products.
We took more than two weeks to check out every aspect and to cover up every minor detail from sound, durability and design of Signature Acoustic C-12 Earphones. And it didn’t disappoint us for the price it was asking and quality it was offering. Without a further ado, we listed up all points mentioning things about which we liked and disliked.
Signature Acoustic earphones C-12 Elements Durability
Speaking in general, many ear buds coming with long wires are difficult to manage and untangle the tangled wire. By eradicating this mess, the hand-made Signature Acoustic earphones do make a statement of their durability. The wire of this earphone was not messy and were barely getting twisted together in a confused mass.I remember stepping on them and wired getting pulled accidently. To my surprise, Signature Acoustic C-12 elements stayed unaffected by my weight. Shattering my doubts about its durability.
Comfort And Noise Isolation of Signature Acoustic earphones C-12 Elements
The earphones come with soft ear buds. The fitting was okay not too tight nor too loose but was in between. You can use it for commute and walking purposes they don’t fall off that easily, running might do that job for you. Do give it a try. Wearing these for long hours didn’t create any sort of trouble or pain to ear. The noise wasn’t completely isolated, you can hear background noise, but it was minimum but not ignorable.
Design of Signature Acoustic earphones C-12 Elements
The earphone looks and feels strong on hands. The cable is non-twisting and stays straight throughout thanks to its interweaving wire look. The wooden earpieces look good and the grainy details give a natural look and individual style. The logo SA which are abbreviated form of Signature Acoustic is engraved into the back of wooden earpieces. Gold plated 3.5 mm jack is attached to an L-shaped connector. Taking everything into account the design was simple and classy not too fancy.
Sound Quality of Signature Acoustic earphones C-12 Elements
The sound quality is good. The sound volume goes up while missing on points like bass quality. It does offer a decent bass and transient response. Earphones are distortion free i.e while hearing a particular note there is no disturbance. Frequency response was good, going as low as 20 hertz’s. The earphone wiring is quite average. Since the sound was being routed to left earpiece most of the time. Treble was average. While listening to my favourite electro dance music and rap tracks, I could distinguish between highs and lows but lows were easy but not that easy to track because of its low noise isolation which was a minor problem. You can distinguish the instruments being played. Treble was normal.
Verdict
Overall for the price its asking. It’s a decent pair of earphone which is durable, strong and not too fancy offering smooth distortion free sound without hiss. Wearing for long hours doesn’t create a problem. Comfortable to wear. It offers a good decent transient and bass quality, but it could have been a little better. Rather than focusing on volume level they should have improved treble a little. Also not forget we were disappointed over the fact that it wasn’t having mic or volume controls.
Overall ignoring treble and noise isolation where it lacks a bit you should go for Signature Acoustic C-12 Elements earphones. From my side, it has gained a thumbs up and I will rate it 3.75 out of 5 which is good from my point of view.
